At Arna’s, we are on a mission to transform farming into a sustainable and empowering
journey. Rooted in tradition yet driven by innovation, we connect farmers directly to
consumers, ensuring fair prices, premium quality, and a healthier tomorrow.
Our journey began in June 2022, when Mr. Rohit, our co-founder, set out to address the
challenges faced by farmers in his community. A recent graduate with a BSc in Agriculture
and a member of a farming family himself, Rohit witnessed firsthand the struggles farmers
face—low market prices, high transportation costs, and dependency on middlemen.
Determined to create meaningful change, he persuaded his family to experiment with
cultivating chia seeds, a sustainable, quick-yield, and pesticide-free crop.
While the harvest was successful, traditional traders undervalued the produce, leading
Rohit to partner with Ms. Supriya, an architect and fitness enthusiast with expertise in
urban markets. Together, they launched Arna’s—a platform designed to empower farmers
by eliminating intermediaries and connecting them directly to consumers seeking natural,
nutrient-rich products.
We began with super seeds—chia, sunflower, sesame, flax, and fenugreek—and have
since expanded to include millets like jowar and bajra, and pulses such as moong dal and
tur dal. Today, Arna’s is more than a business; it’s a movement to create sustainable
livelihoods, empower rural communities, and deliver wholesome, natural foods.
